As a director, he helped create some of the most quoted scenes in movie history, spending decades behind the camera with “When Harry Met Sally…,” “The Princess Bride,” “Stand By Me” and “A Few Good Men,” for which he received an Oscar nomination. Reiner, who, along with his wife, Michele, was found dead in his California home on Sunday, was also an activist, championing marriage equality, anti-tobacco efforts and environmental causes. #robreine
